O Light of God...
Anointed by your morning light I lift my spirit to receive the gift of this new day. Open my eyes to see the beauty that surrounds me that I may walk through this day with the kind of awareness that calls forth grateful living. In all of creation let me see the brightness of your face. Shine in my heart and on my life, filling me with joy, creativity, hope and laughter. Draw me into the radiant glory of your presence and into the small lights of those with whom I live and work. 
O Warmth and Energy of the Sun....
Beautiful reflection of divine light, shine on me at this noonday hour. Rejuvinate and invigorate me. Renew my commitment to the tasks of this day. Lead me to my courage. Warm what has grown cold in me. Energize all that has become lethargic. Enliven my growing moments. In the middle of this day help me to stand before my life with an open heart. In communion with all who have gone before me, I pray.
In This Hour of Deep Silence...
When all things are hushed, I carve out a space in the darkness for you, O Beloved, to dwell. In the quiet of the night I seek your face. Shine upon me and I shall be healed.
Pour out the blessing of your presence on all you retire to their beds in sorrow and fear. Comfort those who have no silence. Shelter those who have no peace. Surprise them with your love.
Summon me into your beautiful darness. Lead me to the land of rest. Cherish my every breath while sleeping and I will rise at dawn with the memory of you in my heart.
